My teaching style is in collaboration with students, my classroom is a sanctuary, a support system for diverse student communities. Thoughtful Respectful Caregiving is preventive, organized, evidence based, planned in advance, diagnostic, flexible, and accommodations . Creating environments where everyone's differences and contribution is celebrated, accepted, and appreciated. I studied university critical support systems methodologies applied in preschool elementary level education settings, praxis in thesis. We work on modeling consent, compromise, collaboration, safe bodies, compassionate communication, emotional honesty, accountability, forgiveness, and apologies. My teaching practice provides the following services: holistic learning opportunities, embodied learning, somatic experiential learning, kinesthetic learning, creative visual pictorial strategy based problem solving— lateral processing for healthy balanced cognitive development. I’m studying ASD PTSD trauma informed care neurosciences in teaching for curriculum instructional shifts.
