Hello! My name is Nina, I'm currently a sophomore at Boston University, but originally I'm from New Jersey in the suburbs of Philadelphia. I absolutely adore working with kids, and I've done so since my first babysitting job when I was 12 years old. Since then, I have had experiences of all sorts. I've watched children as young as a month old to teenagers, helped only children to families of five, and taken on full-time nannying positions to occasional babysitting gigs. In every circumstance, I have learned so much and I still use these skills in everyday situations. The majority of my experience comes from a family of four girls who I began with when I was thirteen years old that I'm still lucky enough to watch grow up today. When I began, the youngest was born two weeks into my time with them, today she is nearly 6 years old. This is to say - I'm very comfortable in 'chaotic' environments and easily adaptive. I'm ready to help with the 'not so fun stuff' like homework and cleaning/organizing, while also encouraging an environment of playfulness, imagination, and most importantly, safety. By working with children, I love that I'm able to help the next generation and motivate them to work as hard as possible while remaining caring at their heart. I graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and a minor in Childhood Studies. I am currently pursuing my master's at Merrimack College in Elementary Education. I have been working with children since I was 14, then officially began studying Early Childhood Education at my vocational high school in 2015. I began to nanny more in 2019 during my vacations and summer breaks. I then got a feel for nannying during Covid-19. From 2020-2024, I have now worked with infants through eighth grade. I am EEC Lead Teacher certified. I enjoy going to the beach and taking walks outside while listening to music and completing arts and crafts.
