Hi! My name is Audrey (but I go by Emma), I am 24 years old, and I am currently a graduate student getting my master's in counseling from Boston College. I am passionate about social justice, personal growth, and social-emotional learning. I love working with kids because they are so curious about the world and open-hearted to others. I have been nannying for 5 years now, working with kids of all ages (3m to 10yr). I have mostly worked with two-child households with kids between the ages of 3 and 9 years old. But, I have also nannied for 3 babies/toddlers (one of which was in the foster care system). Infants and toddlers are actually my favorite age to work with! As a nanny, I want to work with parents to best support their child/children. I love working with parents as a team and being on the same page about boundaries, expectations, and communication. I believe in emotional validation of children and helping them develop self-trust. I also just like being silly and having fun! For babies/toddlers, I want to promote their physical, emotional, and language development by encouraging exploration and curiosity. I am a strong advocate for learning, play, and language, and do this by being an active participant in all of these things. Additionally, your child's safety is extremely important to me. I have been CPR certified in the past and always make sure I'd know what to do in an emergency situation. I believe my 2021 CPR certification has expired, but I'd be happy to get officially certified again if that would make you most comfortable. On the logistical side, I'm completely free on Wednesdays, Fridays, and the weekend. On Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays I am free before 4pm. I would love to work anywhere from 20-35 hours/week. I do not have my own car, but I do have a driver's license and am a very good driver. I have driven kids around in my previous nannying jobs and have never had an issue. I am able to start working ASAP and I would love to chat more/provide you with my resume and references. Thank you!
