With a lifelong instinct for caregiving, I have been working with children since the first family willing to take a chance on my young age hired me—at just 8 years old. From that point on, I was always the one entrusted with responsibility, whether it was babysitting for neighbors, caring for younger peers, or stepping in when adults needed an extra hand. Over the years, I have worked with children ranging from 8 months to 16 years old, managing everything from one-on-one care to overseeing families with multiple children.
My experience extends beyond traditional babysitting—I’ve worked as a travel nanny, managing three children (ages 1 to 7) on a parent’s work trip, handling full-time care, tutoring, schooling, extracurriculars, and overnight supervision. I value building long-term relationships with families but am equally comfortable providing one-time care when needed.
In addition to private childcare, I have worked in structured camp and educational settings. I served as a resident camp counselor for severely disadvantaged and abused children in Texas at Opportunity Camp, as well as a day camp counselor at Chautauqua Institution. While in school, I founded and led an afterschool program designed to bring in specialized educators for students in grades 1-5, and I worked as a teacher’s aide with lower schoolers throughout my academic career.
With a deep understanding of children’s needs across different ages and backgrounds, I bring patience, adaptability, and a nurturing approach to every childcare role. Whether providing daily structure, facilitating learning, or simply making sure kids feel safe and supported, I am committed to creating a positive and engaging environment for every child I work with.
