I have over five years of experience working with children of all ages, ranging from newborns to 18 years old, in various roles, including as a nanny and a Special Olympics coach. As a nanny, I provided personalized care and created enriching daily routines for children, fostering both their personal growth and a strong sense of independence. I worked closely with families to ensure their children’s needs were met, whether it was meal planning, organizing activities, or managing their schedules.
A big part of my nanny role involved taking children outdoors and encouraging active, hands-on learning. I believe in the power of outdoor play, so I made it a point to introduce children to nature through hiking, biking, sports, and creative outdoor activities. This not only helped them develop physical coordination but also boosted their problem-solving skills and creativity.
In addition to my nanny work, I coached for the Special Olympics, where I had the privilege of leading sports programs that emphasized teamwork, physical fitness, and confidence. I really enjoy helping kids grow and learn in fun and engaging environments, whether it’s through outdoor adventures or athletic activities.
Overall, my experience has allowed me to create well-rounded, nurturing experiences for children while encouraging physical activity, exploration, and a love for learning.
