My name is Sydney Field, and I am 23 years old, graduating this December from the University of New Haven with a degree in Communication Film Production. My experience in childcare began at age 13, when I started babysitting for my younger siblings and local families. At 14, I became a Counselor-In-Training at the summer camp I had attended throughout my childhood. Over the years, I progressed to Junior and Senior Counselor roles, working with children aged 5-13. I also gained teaching experience as a Teaching Assistant at Filmmaker's Collaborative Academy, where I instructed children ages 6-12 in filmmaking. Most recently, I served as a Supervisor for the Lynn Department of Public Works as well as the Lynn Special Needs Camp, overseeing programs for children ages 6-18, and ensuring a safe, engaging environment. I am deeply committed to supporting children's emotional, mental, and physical well-being and strive to create environments where they can thrive.
