Meet Dede: A nanny in Chicago, IL

In 2021, I began working full-time as a substitute teacher. During my first month, I worked with the toddler group (18m to 3y). The following month, I transitioned to working with the infants (ages 3m to 18m), gaining valuable experience with both age groups throughout my time there. My responsibilities included: *Preparing bottles and feeding babies table food. *Changing diapers and assisting with potty training. *Putting infants and toddlers down for naps. *Leading storytime, music activities, and other developmental exercises to support fine and gross motor skills. *Conducting observations and maintaining a clean environment by washing bottles, dishes, and toys. In 2022, I transitioned to an assistant infant teacher position. While working there, I built strong bonds with the infants (ages 3m to 18m) and toddlers (ages 2 to 4). My role expanded to include assisting with both groups, allowing me to support their developmental and emotional needs effectively. At the moment I am looking for a permanent nanny position.
