Meet Jennifer: A nanny and babysitter in San Diego, CA

Hi families! I'm Jenn. I am a small business owner, pre K & elementary teacher, surf instructor, yogi, dog mom and lover of all things ocean and outdoors!

In 2020 my husband and I started our small business that offers outdoor afterschool programs and camps for elementary-age children and surf lessons for all ages. I am the lead teacher and surf instructor. While our program is off-season (until April 2025), I am looking for some part-time flexible nannying jobs and keep doing what I love--to continue working with children and share my love for nature and outdoor play with them.

I have over 15 years of experience working with children ages 1-12 years old in a variety of roles, including: afterschool program director, English teacher abroad, lifeguard, surf instructor, nature school teacher, inclusion aide, behavioral interventionist, tutor, and more!

My greatest joys in life are being in/near the ocean, my family, health and wellness, dance, yoga, being in nature, traveling, cooking and journaling. During my free time, I am most likely to be found at the beach walking our 2 sweet pups, surfing or cooking up something yummy and healthy at home.
