Meet Elizabeth: A nanny and babysitter in Philadelphia, PA

I am an experienced nanny, early childhood educator, current and long-term yoga teacher, and business owner. I have worked as a full and part time nanny and in childcare for over a decade, caring for infants and children up to 10 years old, including infant twins and multiples.

I believe child care and understanding child development is one of the most important and special roles in life. I have found so much fulfillment and joy in being a nurturing and stable presence for children, and supporting the needs of families. I enjoy continuing to educate myself on how children and all humans learn and develop. I am skilled in nourishing environments towards greater ease and functionality through calm, focused, curious and empathetic care. I have owned and managed my yoga studio for over 7 years, but would now like to return to a nanny position as I allow other to take over my current role.

While earning my bachelors, I worked in daycares (Bright Horizons Family Solutions), and completed a handful of credits in early childhood education. After earning my bachelors, I began deepening my yoga studies, and at the same time, accepted a long-term nanny position (4 years) with a wonderful family. I have been been a part time and full time nanny for several other families.

I currently living in Fishtown but working in Center City. I am comfortable and safe driving children, and happy to help with cleaning and other household or pet needs. I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle, cooking, reading, writing, running, yoga and meditation, caring for my senior dog, time with good friends, and time in nature.
