Meet Amber: A nanny, babysitter, and au pair in Brooklyn, NY

I started working with children professionally 15 years ago and it's been a privilege to support the growth of so many young lives. I started my work in a daycare with children aged infant to 3 years. Since then I've enjoyed work as a babysitter for newborns to teens and a tutor in writing, art, and elementary school work.

On a personal note, I'm a nurturing and fun loving creative with no kids and a flexible schedule. I find my strength is enforcing boundaries and rules without making children feel forced or inhibited. I love music, make believe, games and puzzles, reading and exercising. Coming from a family of teachers, I've learned a thousand ways to make homework and learning fun. And I love caring for little ones who haven't learned to speak for themselves yet. Babies can still have fun.

I'm trained and certified in First Aid, CPR, and Food Allergies, specifically Anaphylaxis and the Use of Epinephrine. I know the importance of keeping your children safe, and moreover I relish the responsibility of providing them trustworthy and loving care. I'm understand the communication and cooperation needed, and I can't wait to work with you and your child.
